Ellen Degeneres is one of the most generous people. She is an American stand up comedien, actress, and the television host for The Ellen Show.  Ellen supports same sex marriage and is married to Portia De Rossi. Ellen donates to numerous amounts of charities and organizations and helps others significantly.  Ellen and her wife are both vegans, and rescue animals. They are both animal lovers, and are against animal cruelty.

Ellen reunites a military family. With both parents deployed in different areas,  who have also been gone for seven months. Leaving their three children behind with their mom and mohther in law.

Ellen helps discover talent from kids on the internet, like Greyson Chance. Ellen had a contest for best singing web video on youtube and chose Greyson Chance. She also started a record company "11 11" just to sign greyson. For the winner of the challenge greyson recieved a check for winning.  (Nudd)
